Dr Michael Wagner is a special advisor to AFRY Management and focuses on the development of the hydrogen economy. Michael joined AFRY in 2022 from the GB energy regulator, OFGEM, where he was responsible for the development of the regulatory framework for the gas transmission and distribution network companies and led the regulators work on Hydrogen. He has over 20 years’ experience in energy, covering market design, trading, due diligence, strategy, energy policy and regulation and is a recognised expert in the decarbonisation of the energy sector.
