I have worked on the development and commercialisation of fuel cell systems for over 12 years, during which time I’ve had the opportunity to work with a range of fuel cell technologies within a wide range of industrial sectors. This encompassed 8 years at Intelligent Energy delivering innovative and exciting projects such as; the 2-wheeled Suzuki Burgman motor-cycle, the 4-wheeled Zero Emission Range Extender (ZERE) and the SSE Combined Heat and Power systems. After an additional period as Chief Engineer at HyperMotive, working on innovative and enjoyable electrification projects (the racing car from a washing machine motor was a particular favorite), I have now decided to turn my focus and experience to getting fuel cell aviation ‘off the ground’ with ZeroAvia.
