Jane Toogood holds an MA in Natural Sciences (chemistry) from the University of Oxford and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC). Jane Toogood is Chief Executive, Catalyst Technologies at Johnson Matthey Plc. Johnson Matthey is a global leader in sustainable technologies, a major player in the research and development of technologies to accelerate the transition towards net zero emissions.

Jane has recently been appointed as the UK Government’s Hydrogen Champion and is co-Chair (with the Secretary of State for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) of the Hydrogen Advisory Council, created to ensure that advice from industry informs the development and implementation of the UK Hydrogen Strategy. She is also a Non-Executive Director of Victrex Plc.
