Dr Laura Finney

Laura is the Innovation Lead for hydrogen and greenhouse gas removal within the Energy Team at Innovate UK. She is responsible for hydrogen competitions and influences the strategic direction of hydrogen activities within Innovate UK, ensuring the programmes run according to the interests of stakeholders. Laura has previously worked as part of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and brings additional experience of hydrogen research. Laura also contributed to the research and innovation elements of the UK Hydrogen Strategy as part of a secondment into the Hydrogen Economy Team at the UK Government’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
