Matt has 30 years’ experience in the construction, maintenance and property sectors having started his career as an Architectural Technologist. Matt’s career has taken him on a journey through design and project management of the construction of housing, industrial, commercial and educational building in both the public and private sectors before moving into the facilities management industry looking after a portfolio of blue chip clients in the UK and New Zealand where he developed a passion for issues relating to sustainability. In more recent years, Matt’s focus has been on developing and delivering technical solutions for housing and property groups in respect of the decarbonisation agenda, and more recently the fuel crisis and now works in a specialist team within Kier Ltd to deliver these services together with funding solutions to clients across all of Kier’s businesses.
