Simon Holt is Manager, Emerging Energy Europe at Phillips 66 in London, a Chemical Engineer with 23 years of experience.
Simon began his career with Phillips 66 in 1999, as a Process Engineer at Humber Refinery. He has held various engineering, commercial and management positions within Conoco, ConocoPhillips and Phillips 66, working in Humber, London and Houston.
He has been in his current role in the Emerging Energy Division since January 2022 and is responsible for Emerging Energy strategy and business development in Europe connecting with the corporate strategic pillars of Renewable Fuels, Batteries, Carbon Capture and Hydrogen. In Europe, Phillips 66 is focused on fuelling the future of mobility by repositioning Humber Refinery and JET to supply EV battery coke, renewable fuels and hydrogen whilst reducing overall carbon footprint.
Prior to his current role, Simon was responsible for optimising the company’s European value chain and developing an integrated UK business strategy in line with the UK Government’s 2050 net-zero target.
